The publication of this journal would not have been possible without the support of many. The staff would like to first acknowledge the generous support of the Jane Gentry Vance Fund, which provides annual financial contributions to the journal. Vance was an esteemed creative writing professor in the English Department at the University of Kentucky. She served as the Kentucky Poet Laureate from 2007-2008 and was inducted into the Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame in 2013.

We would also like to acknowledge the hands-on guidance that we have received from our faculty advisors, Dr. Julie Boutwell-Peterson and Dr. Jena Seiler, especially during this foundational year.
